Our story

Founded on one stubborn belief.

Good information should be easy to find and easy to trust. We kept meeting people who had been worn down by jargon, dead links, and advice that buried the point. So we built the opposite.

Tidemark reads like a calm clinic, not a spa and not a guru. Accessibility is not a feature we bolted on. It is the editorial value that leads every decision, from the contrast of our text to the order of our sentences.

  • Legibility and contrast lead every page
  • Reassurance-driven, never preachy
  • A real person behind every reply

What we stand for

Four values, no compromise.

AccuracyWe get the facts right and cite where it matters.
ClarityPlain language, answer first, no padding.
IndependenceReader-first, never hype-first.
UsefulnessIf it does not help you, we do not publish it.

Our method

Research, clarify, keep current.

The same three-step rhythm sits behind every guide we publish.

01

We research it properly

Every guide begins with real digging: primary sources, current rules, and the context behind them, never recycled filler.

02

We make it clear

Plain language, useful structure, and the answer up front. You should never need a second read to find what you came for.

03

We keep it current

Card rules and practices change, so we update. What you read here reflects how things actually are right now.

The people

Small practice, real names.

No content farm. A short bench of people who care about getting it right and making it clear.

Mara Quintero

Founding practitioner

Twelve years in accessibility advocacy. Mara built the checklist method the studio runs on, and still reads every reader email herself.

Devon Aldridge

Research lead

A former public-health librarian, Devon traces every claim back to a primary source so the guidance holds up under pressure.

Priya Sundaram

Reader care

Priya answers the questions that do not fit a form. A steady, patient first point of contact for anyone unsure where to start.
